POSITION

Ingredient Hander at Nestle,5750 Harper Road, Solon OH 44139

SUMMARY: Assisting in the production of food products by preparing, weighing and supplying the line with ingredients.

JOB DUTIES: Duties range from weighing ingredients, dropping trays on conveyor belt, placing food into trays, opening cases and supplying line with ingredients.

HOURS & SCHEDULE:  All positions are considered “call-in”. You are required to call an automated scheduling phone line to see what days you are scheduled to work day-to-day. The company can schedule you any day Monday through Saturday. A 40 hour/week schedule is not guaranteed. Along with the days you work, start times will vary day-to-day. While Nestle is on the bus line, the buses do not run early enough to be on time to start 1^st shift and the bus leaves before the 2^nd shift is over.

1^st shift starts between 4:00am-6:00am

2^nd shift starts between 1:00pm-4:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience in manufacturing or food service
• Must pass comprehensive felony and federal background checks

-No Felonies, Misdemeanors OK if aged 7 years

• Urinalysis drug screen
• Strength/agility test (this is conducted at a facility in Hudson, scored on a scale of 1-3, 3 being the highest, this position requires a score of a 2 or higher)
• Work Keys test (a 5 hour test conducted at Nestle, similar to an ACT or SAT test. The Work Keys Assessment is a paper based test with 4 sections.  The sections measure Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, Locating Information, and Workplace Observation skills. The test is scored on a scale of 1-7. You must have a score of a 3 or higher in all areas of the test in order to meet Nestlé’s criteria)
• Possess the physical capabilities to stand all day, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Be able and willing to work a flexible and call-in schedule where 40 hrs/wk is not guaranteed.
• Reliable transportation (Nestle has a very strict time and attendance policy)

PAY

1^st shift pays $10.00/hr, 2^nd shift pays $10.25/hr

Supervisor III – Procurement

Duties include: Review of and purchase of commodities or services characterized by frequently changing specifications, lease/buy analysis determinations, purchase orders and procurement items in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).Coordinate with appropriate disciplines to summarize bid quotations and make written recommendations to appropriate managers for approval.Conduct pre-award conference with vendors in order to assure common understanding of the bid packages, language, and price quote.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field.
• Ten years of professional level experience administering procurements/contracts in the Federal Government Acquisitions environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
• Demonstrated prior experience in working with a FAR based, Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and incentive type Government Contracts environment
• Prior Supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Certification from National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA).

 Supervisor III – Contracts

Duties include: Provide direction, guidance, and mentoring for contract compliance, including the oversight and development and management of the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, bid negotiations, cost/price analysis, lease/buy analysis, construction of the contract award file and recommendation for consent and award. Responsible for ensuring that department contract activities and deliverables are carried out in accordance with acquisition practices and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field plus ten years of professional level experience administering contracts in the Federal Government Acquisitions environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated prior experience in working with a FAR based, Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and incentive type Government Contracts environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Certification from National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA).

Technical Writer

Duties include: Prepare manuals, pamphlets, letters and other documentation and provide support and assist in writing and review of all documents for FBP. This will include editing and standardization to established procedures. This will include editing and standardization to established procedures. Recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content and methods of reproduction and binding. Study drawings, specifications, mock-ups and product samples to integrate and delineate procedures, sequence and detail. – Analyze developments in specific field; evaluate need to revise previously developed documentation.
Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS in a related field (such as English or Journalism); with demonstrated competency in technical writing and 1-2 years writing and/or editing technical documents; and/or combination of equivalent experience and education
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office software.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience at DOE remediation site(s).

QC Inspector

Duties include: Ability to read, interpret, and work directly from engineering drawings. Perform inspections of overhead cranes, elevators, mobile equipment, welding, mechanical maintenance, electrical inspection, receipt of incoming materials, coded pressure vessels, boilers, water towers, pressure piping systems, compressed gas cylinders, back-flow preventers.  Perform Nondestructive Examination (NDE) as requested or required.
Minimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
• Qualification, certification, or experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanical inspection, electrical inspection, precision measurement, receipt inspection, National Board Inspection Code (for boilers, pressure vessels, and valves) inspection, weld inspection, elevator inspection, overhead crane inspection, mobile equipment inspection, back-flow preventer inspection.
