Ohio Laborer’s Statewide Apprenticeship Program
Jobs performed by construction laborers can include the construction, remodeling, and demolition of buildings, dams, bridges, airports, streets, sewers, tunnels, etc. Typically a laborer’s duties include: placement of asphalt and concrete, assisting brick masons, carpenters, plaster masons, earth compaction, pavement breaking, landscaping, pipe laying, cleanup, flagging, cutting and burning steel, rigging, sandblasting, etc.

Provide a copy of high school diploma or GED
Provide a copy of a state issue photo ID (Driver’s license)
Application Process:
1) Complete application
2) Applicant mailed notice of test
3) Take and pass test
4) Those who pass will be mailed notice of interview
5) Applicants will be ranked
6) Mandatory drug screening
